Background

I am Hussain AlNajjar, a 17-year-old student at St Christopher’s School Bahrain with a fervent passion for learning and developing my interpersonal skills. During my years at St. Christopher’s School Bahrain, I embraced The Duke of Edinburgh's silver and gold award, refining my leadership, resilience, and teamwork. The World Scholar's Cup at Yale University's Tournament of Champions expanded my intellectual horizons and fortified my multidisciplinary problem-solving skills alongside my practiced debating abilities. I'm currently completing my Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award activities and planning to submit my application soon, driven by the desire to participate in the Gold level of the program and foster future growth. My aim is to pursue a degree in Physiotherapy that aligns with my passion for sports and healthcare. Multiple injuries sustained in kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu compelled me to frequent physiotherapy for recovery. This personal journey motivated me to pursue a degree in Physiotherapy, enabling me to positively impact the lives of athletes. My aim involves bridging the gap between rehabilitation and peak performance, aiding athletes,elderly individuals, post-surgery patients, pediatric patients, accident victims, among others in their injury recovery and journey toward optimal physical excellence.

Academic History and Engagements

My educational journey at St Christopher’s School Bahrain have shaped me through diverse engagements, promoted my intellectually, and nourishes my social responsibility towards my community and personal well-being . My participation in the Duke of Edinburgh silver and gold award enhanced leadership skills and resilience. Also, got qualified to participate in The Tournament of Champions that took place in New York City. The World Scholar's Cup at Yale University expanded my problem-solving abilities across disciplines through learning the disciplines of debates in multiple topics such as science, history, social studies, art, literature, and other special ares. Moreover, I secured an internship at Bahrain's Physio Relief clinic, where my two-week experience exposed me to the beneficial outcomes of tailored rehab programs for athletes aiming to reclaim their peak performance.
